Specialty
Specialty Classes. The name alone tells you this is NOT an ordinary education experience. At Dive Adventures, we believe in putting the "special" in Specialty so your need for adventure is tamed for just a moment.
We offer the complete range of NAUI Specialties; Deep Diver, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Reef Conservation, and others, but we weren't happy to stop there. We have developed some specialities that are available only through Dive Adventures, and offer an extremely high level of instruction in some very complex disciplines.
We don't just teach these specialties either! When you visit us, you will see pictures that were taken by the instructors teaching the class. You can see, and learn more about, the amazing dinosaur fossils that can only be found on the west coast of Florida. Or you can visit the "Tiki Bar", and watch a travel documentary of the most recent dive trip to one of the St. Somewhere islands we travel to.
Bouyancy Clinic
Let's be honest, achieving that whole "neutral buoyancy nirvana" thing is tough to do! This specialty is all about learning the tricks we use ourselves to maintain that place of perfect equilibrium.
Nitrox
Discover for yourself why some "old timers" won't dive unless they are breathing this magic elixir gas, Nitrox. It isn't really magic, more like simple physics, but if you are serious about your diving you will want to discover how Nitrox can benefit you in your quest for more and safer bottom time.
Underwater Videography
Learn basic video shooting skills like how to white balance your camera for underwater shooting, or how to properly light your subject to get the best possible footage. Then turn on your creative thinking and learn to use software tools like Final Cut Pro to shape your footage into a one of a kind video that dramatically tells your vacation story in a way that borders on cinematic genius.
Underwater Photography
Nearly everyone I know that takes up diving as a serious hobby starts thinking about taking pictures sooner or later. If you want to fasttrack your learning curve, take our photography specialty and learn all the normal stuff like composition, lighting, and depth of field settings. Then launch into more advanced, but equally important topics such as using Photoshop to correct the natural loss of color, or simply create "art" from your photographs.
